A new layer of the Medical Qigong series each week, progressively deepening until we feel confident in the full sequence by Week 9.
Short & simple home practices to help integrate and embody each week's theme.
A video recording of each class will be made available for private use.
During productive rest weeks you'll receive a guided meditation and journaling prompts to soak in the months theme.

Sharing Without Graphic Details -
Please be mindful when sharing explicit details of your story, as this can be overwhelming or re-traumatizing for yourself and others. For example, you might share that you are a survivor of assault, but please refrain from describing the explicit details of what happened. If these details need to be witnessed, we have more space for that in 1:1 sessions.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS - GROups
Anyone wanting to deepen their somatic (bodily), energetic (life-force), and overall connection to self. No past experience is required.
Is there anyone who should not do this program?
This program may not be the best fit for everyone at this time. Here are some considerations:
If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant during the course: Medical Qigong can be a strong energy practice, during pregnancy gentler practices and rest may suit you better. You are welcome to modify your participation by resting or witnessing the qigong portions of the live calls (which make up about 45% of each class). Alternatively, you may choose to wait and join a future cohort after your pregnancy. I plan to run these 2 - 3 times a year.
If you experience extreme overwhelm, dysregulation, or dissociation that is difficult to return from when connecting with your body, this course involves deep somatic and energetic practices. If connecting with your body tends to cause significant distress, it may be beneficial to focus on 1:1 support before joining a group cohort. However, if you feel comfortable participating in something like a group yoga class that includes emotional explorations, this program is likely a good fit for you.

This program is designed to give you practical skills you can integrate and return to for the rest of your life.
Absolutely! This program is designed for both beginners and those with experience. You’ll be guided step by step in a way that meets you where you are. No prior experience with Qigong or somatic practices is necessary - just an open mind, willingness to explore, and the ability to engage at your own pace. Most of the people I teach are new to both!
The live group calls are two hours long, three times a month. The optional practices & meditations for integration are entirely up to you. I recommend dedicating 5 to 30 minutes a day to embody one of the practices you have learned, practicing the Medical Qigong Series at least twice a week at home, and incorporating quick 30-second somatic check-ins throughout the day, however feels right to you.
For some classes, having a few things nearby may be useful:
A firm pillow or bolster.
Your favorite grounding objects that help you feel safe and calm.
Something to take notes or journal with.
Enough space to sit, stand, and move your arms and legs around a bit.
Yes! There is a community Facebook Group for ongoing connection with your cohort between live calls. This is also where class recordings will be shared. You can also book a private energy healing or somatic session between group calls. I do recommend booking these in advance, as my schedule fills up quickly.
While it’s ideal to attend most sessions live, please don’t worry if you need to miss one or two. All sessions will be recorded and available for replay within the community Facebook group, so you can catch up when you have the time and capacity.
Because of the nature of this work, the intimate group setting, and the limited spots, refunds are not offered once the program begins. However, I am happy to answer any questions transparently and extensively before you join to make sure it’s the right fit for you.
