I'm a somatic healer with a background in emergency nursing. I work with people healing from being hurt or harmed, and those wanting a deeper understanding of themselves and their own transformation. Especially when they've already tried a lot of things and still feel like something essential hasn't shifted. My approach draws on somatic (body-based) practices, qigong (energy-based), and an intuitive attention to what each person would be supported by.
My path into this work came through my own healing journey. After years as an ER nurse and a long history of carrying more than I realized, my body eventually made it clear that something had to change. Somatic healing, qigong, and learning to trust my own inner voice as a guide, became the practices that helped me rebuild myself and are now the foundation of the work I now offer others. What I found on the other side wasn't just relief from suffering. It was a fuller, whole, brighter, more grounded version of myself than I'd known before.
I work with people who feel stuck, disconnected, or like something essential is missing. Whether you are seeking healing, a more grounded & expansive sense of self, or a deeper connection to the world around you, there is a path forward. Having someone steady beside you makes the process a lot less hard. If you are ready to feel more like yourself again, or to even discover who that is, I would be honored to support your journey.

just for fun facts...
When I was younger, I was captivated by movies where the good guys could expertly read body language to track down the bad guys. Now my inner child is thrilled that I've developed the ability to notice even the subtlest shifts in someone's body. Instead of chasing villains, though, I use those skills to guide healing and transformation.
I can see energy, or qi, with my eyes. I've been able to since I was a little kid, though I didn't know what it was then. I see it as a white, hazy glow around people, animals, and trees. Watching my qigong students light up as their qi builds during practice never gets old.
Dancing with others is my favorite form of medicine. Contact improv was what finally cracked open my embodiment journey in a way that yoga never quite reached.
I have an unwavering opinion that Avatar the Last Airbender is one of the greatest works of art of all time. Qigong makes me feel like a water bender.
