PRIVATE TRAINING
In private classes I will enhance the flow of qi that you are moving so that it is easier for you to replicate during your own practice. This works even over Zoom. Private training can also include a brief reading of your physical, energetic, and spiritual fields. I can make fine tuned corrections to your posture, physical movements, qi flow though the body and channels, to improve your personal practice. Recordings of your private trainings are available for you to keep and re-watch for individual use.
Qigong (pronounced chee-gong) is an ancient Chinese practice with shamanic roots dating back to nearly 7,000 years ago that has evolved into a core branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Also spelled chi gong, it combines gentle movement, breath, and intention to cultivate, balance, and strengthen the body’s vital energy, known as qi. Qi means energy, and Gong means skillful work, so qigong is the art of working skillfully with your own life force energy.
Qigong practice is often grouped into three main categories: Medical, Martial (such as Tai Chi), and Spiritual. Within these, there are countless lineages and styles, all supporting the health of the body, mind, and spirit in their own ways. I primarily teach Medical Qigong, which focuses on improving health and healing. I primarily teach and study Medical Qigong, which focuses on improving health and wellness of one's entire body and being. Other branches of Traditional Chinese medicine include acupuncture, nutrition, Chinese herbal medicine, Tui Na massage, and feng shui.
I teach trauma informed and somatic oriented qigong that guides people into gentle, mindful awareness of both their physical and subtle bodies. Qi is something that must be felt to be understood, so I help students experience it directly and quickly, often by their fourth class. Even after a single class though, there is usually a noticeable change after. Eyes soften, faces brighten, and people appear more relaxed and connected in the present moment.
As students begin to attune to their qi, it often feels magical, it's a opening into a new way of being with themselves and the world. Many have shared that working directly with their energy revealed a missing layer in their healing and growth. My approach cultivates intuitive perception through grounded somatic awareness, creating a foundation for energetic and spiritual hygiene. This is something modern culture rarely teaches but is especially essential for people who are highly sensitive, empathic feelers, body workers, or care providers.
Over time, my students develop clearer energetic boundaries, a deeper understanding of how emotional energy moves through their unique body, stronger intuition, and the confidence to work with their own energy. My goal is to support people in navigating their energy with greater clarity, resilience, and ease.
This is a follow along video without instructions for current and past students who want to practice outside of class.
