Energy Healing
Energetic care to clear, nourish, and harmonize.
Energetic care to clear, nourish, and harmonize.
No. While both Reiki and Medical Qigong work with energy, they differ significantly in scope, training, and approach.
Medical Qigong requires the ability to sense, access, and work with specific qi patterns in the body, as well as to understand how and when to intervene. These are surprisingly technical, cultivated skills that develop through years of sustained study and daily personal practice to cultivate, protect, and regulate the practioners qi. The practioner also needs a rich understanding of medical qigong theory, Traditional Chinese Medicine, meditation skill, and Taoist practice. The work emphasizes discernment, energetic hygiene, and precise application rather than relying solely on positive intention.
Medical qigong has specific energetic healing protocols for many common patterns of dis-ease from mirages, anxiety, kidney stones, obsessive thoughts, fractures and much more.
I would also like to acknowledge that many people have been harmed within energy work spaces, often through toxic positivity, spiritual bypassing, unclear boundaries, or misuse of spiritual authority. My intention is to practice in a way that is grounded, ethical, and embodied. I do not use this work to spiritually bypass, gaslight, culturally appropriate, replace medical or psychological care, or position myself as an authority over another’s inner knowing.
I strive to honor the full spectrum of human experience, integrating grounded spirituality, energetic awareness with nervous system safety, consent, and trauma sensetive care.
